Oh god. I SO relate: http://livingladolcevita.wordpress.com/2007/04/04/78/
Nooooo, I know how unpleasant THAT appointment is but you really need to go once a year. I know I don't need to tell you why. It's unpleasant and expensive but it's only once a year and then you have peace of mind that all is okay! I know of far too many people who resisted appointments only to find out further down the line that they have cysts and cervical cancer! Sorry I'm just a bit fanatical about the regular check-up!LOVED your discription by the way - I think every girl has lived this!
Dolce, my dear Erotica writer of SA (We need one!) - I will be off to take a look now. And it had better not leave me feeling as frustrated as yesterday's post!Benz - Do not fear, I am sure I will get there often enough from now, getting older and all! That appointment has actually seriously been on my list for about 3 years!! So it is GREAT To tick that one off. But it was more a timing thing, because I have not known where I was going to be the next month for about that long a time...but with the new relationship, I realised I had no more choice of postponing...!
Oh Lordy, this is is hysterical, so true! Thanks Champers, great post!!
:) Thank you!
I lived it, you wrote about it. Especially the whole, "and here we have a picture of you inside out..."While I was waiting for my appointment, the lady before me came out to call her husband. You see, she thought she was coming in to get something random checked up and she had just learnt she was pregnant with twins. Now that is a good ol' classic... SURPRISE!
Koeks - that story made me cold! How bluddy freaky!! And highly amusing for those watching... well, until it is their turn to expose what's in their wombs!
