I have no thoughts of significance today. Not even horror for the news of a medical student being raped at Baragwanath hospital. All I feel about it right now is sadness.
Especially when reading this quote:
Staff at the hospital said students usually drove the approximately one kilometre journey to the laboratory because of safety concerns.
She walked that 1 kilometre. She got raped.
What are we going to do about it?
