Sunday Times, have you no shame

The woman had just experienced the trauma of her house being flooded, having lost so many valued possessions, and you then humiliate her by publishing a photo of her in distress, dressed only in her underwear.

Where is the sensitivity to the subject? Isn’t that vital for journos’ integrity?

Surely there were other photos to use? But then, humiliation means more money for you, right?

Classy.

Before my journo mates throw things this way, I best just say, I trust that a good number of them do, and those will be the ones who rise through the ranks & whose words we actually consider with respect. Plus journos always blame the editors for the final product... I am amazed that such photo could get through the various levels & finally be published. I hope at least 1 person protested to it.

Rubes - I am sure they accept your humblest apologies!

Mimi Mee (of Kreative Mix)- I will commence the search for it shortly. Maybe in the New Year though. What with being exhausted from 2007 already!
