So. There are civilised folk. And uncivilised folk. Or so the people who like to consider themselves as “civilised” like to think.
But the great hypocrisy is that “civilised folk” feel justified in treating “uncivilised folk” in an uncivilised manner. The mentality of “They don’t deserve any better treatment”.
So Person of Green believes that Person of Purple is beneath them, because Person of Purple acts & lives & treats the world like an animal. And Person of Green believes themselves to be better, because they do not act like an animal. Until they deal with Person of Purple....!
And there is the rub.
If you treat someone in a subhuman way, because you believe they are subhuman, you make yourself subhuman.
So. Who do you think is uncivilised? And how did you last treat them?

Damn bluddy straight! Damn Aussies! Hmmm.... I think it might be cause I use public transport these days. I am the purple in the bus, the green are the ones in the cars, and the druggie next to me is my purple and I am their green. I could have chosen more creative colours...
Well, purple and green go quite nicely together...think Wimbledon.
I had the misfortune to be caught in Melbourne peak morning traffic once and watched enviously as the buses whizzed along in the dedicated bus lane. Perhaps those greens are envious of your foresight when choosing to use public transport that might get you where you need to be quicker? (even if the only reason you have to use the public transport is because you're not as rich as a green ;-) )
It definitely is an entertaining pasttime!
As for why I really was on this topic... probably cause of all the racial/ cultural tension from here to SA. SA is apartheid-related. Here, according to Oz media, is all about local teen gangs recently hating & beating up immigrants...especially Indian students for some screwed-up reason.
I guess there aint nowhere in the world where you could go to and there are no SCREWED UP people...
